The Regional Council had temporarily transferred the House of Formation to Solana Beach until we could find an appropriate property in the North San Diego County. We also needed to raise additional funds to purchase a house in that area where properties are generally more expensive. Jesus said “Ask and it shall be given to you” (Mark 11: 24), so we kept advertising in our newsletter that we needed a house for our seminarians. Our Prayers have been answered with Our NEW Formation House ” House of Jesus and Mary ” at 1616 1/2 York Dr. Vista, CA 92084 a 6 bedroom 6 bath 3,410 square feet home.
Primarily, with this home we will be able to serve the growing need for seminarian housing while they study and also serve the local parishes of the Oceanside Deanery that we have been a part of for over 40 years. As we continue to grow and develop lasting relationships within the communities that we serve. Now because of this purchase the Eudist Community, can now be closer to those in need at our Oceanside Deanery:
