Continuing Our Rice Bowl Tradition

Did you know that because of the outstanding generosity of parishioners, St. John Eudes collected $6869.15 in donations to the Catholic Relief Services Rice Bowl program in 2014? Many, many thanks to all who participated last year!

If you haven't participated in the Rice Bowl program before you might like to know it is an opportunity to pray, fast and learn about the needs of so many in our world and to give a sacrificial donation to those who have so little. The St. John Eudes community has been a tremendous contributor to this effort over the years and we hope that whether you are a faithful giver or a new benefactor, all will participate.

Rice bowls will be handed after Masses on Ash Wednesday and again on the weekend of February 21/22. In addition you may want to stop by the table in the plaza after Masses on February 22 to learn more about Catholic Relief Services, the Rice Bowl program and more ways you can give during this season of penitential reflection and sacrifice.
