We gathered at St Patrick Catholic Community in Carlsbad, California for a Mass at 4:00 pm. Father Camilo presided the celebration which was enliven with beautiful songs and the beautiful liturgy of such special day, in which we also renewed our commitment of incorporation, followed immediately by the associate’s renewal, within it, Carol Amos became an Associate and Deacon Al Graf who is 95 and a great supporter of our work, received the title of “honorary Associate”; the seminarian and candidates also had a special formula to renew their desire to continue discovering the will of God in their formation and discernment process.
After such beautiful celebration, we then shared the table as brothers and sisters which are together for the mission with a delicious dinner in the Parish Hall at St Patrick’s. It was a gift to share the table of the Lord and dinner in the company of all the Associates, seminarians and incorporated, the spirits were high and we enjoyed every minute of it.
It was a very solemn way to end the General’s visit, which left us in a spirit of joy after renewing our promises under the shadow of the Holy Spirit to be able to live mercy, formation and mission in the footsteps of St John Eudes.
