In April 2017 we were delighted to welcome a group of about 80 mission partners and sisters from all over USA, Canada and Singapore who participated in a regular pilgrimage at the Motherhouse organized by Melinda Stricklen and her team!
The Spirituality Centre enabled them to deepen their knowledge of the spirituality of the congregation by guiding them on the labyrinth, and experience to get in touch with oneself, with others, with the earth and with the congregation.
They also had the opportunity to visit the new Congregational Museum and they were very impressed by the richness of the content and the beauty of the building, in particular the “monastic life room” which gave them an idea of the life of the sisters in the past.
They were also happy to listen to and watch the testimonies of mission partners from USA and Canada who came 3 years ago to the Motherhouse and who had been recorded for the Museum.
On April 7th they went to Noirmoutier, on a very sunny day, to walk in the footsteps of St. Mary Euphrasia. They discovered her birth house, her school and her playground in “Bois de la Chaise”.
The entire group was grateful for this “timeless” experience and appreciated the involvement of the sisters and mission partners of the Motherhouse.
